In my media presentations I tell exciting stories of living on the ice. As a communications engineer for the German polar research institute AWI (Alfred-Wegener-Institute) I spent 14 month on the Antarctic research station Neumayer III \u0013 nine months of which I was completely isolated together with eight of my colleagues. As a passionate enthusiast photographer I was able to capture the challenges of the everyday life as well as the fascinating environment and wildlife of this remote place in unique images – they serve as the basis for my presentations.<\/p>\n
